Step 1 - Spend Your Money Where You Spend Your Time
The first step in building your own custom home is to find out what "custom" means to you. Your house should be a reflection of you and your family. The answers to a few questions are all that we need to begin this exciting process. Are you looking for more space or are you downsizing? Do you enjoy the elegance of vaulted ceilings or do you prefer the cozy feel of a Cape Cod? Where do you like to spend your time? Are you a cook, a car buff, and artist, or a golf pro? Do you enjoy reading beside a fire? Do you have small children you need to keep an eye on, or are your teenagers just dying for some privacy of their own? The answers to these questions (and a few more) will complete the first step to having a truly genuine custom built home.
Step 2 - Design And Redesign
Based on the information you provide in step 1, we will be able to design a home to meet your needs, reflect your desires, and fit your budget. Perhaps your garage will have several electrical outlets instead of the standard one or two. Maybe your formal dining room will be perfectly designed to entertain 24 people in elegance and style. Whatever your unique tastes, Castle Builders will work with you to design and redesign your home to your satisfaction. After working with you we will finalize the prints and move right along to step 3!
Step 3 - Building, Styles, And Colors
While we are busy building your custom home, you will be having fun picking out colors, carpet, fixtures, and more. All while checking out the progress of the construction of your home through our Construction Cam website program.
